The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District exists to serve you through the provision of fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, and risk reduction services to the residents and visitors to our jurisdiction, which includes the following communities (or portions thereof) and surrounding unincorporated areas:

• Village of Elburn
• Village of Lily Lake
• Village of Virgil
• Village of Campton Hills
• Batavia Township
• Blackberry Township        
• Campton Township
• Geneva Township
• Sugar Grove Township
• Virgil Township

As well as large subdivisions such as:

• Mill Creek (Geneva Twp.)
• The Windings (Campton Twp.)

Whereas we hope you never need to utilize our emergency services, we encourage you to take advantage of our community risk reduction services and programs, which include (but are not limited to):

• Fire prevention
• Public education (tours, CPR, car seat safety, etc.)
• Rural water supply preparedness
• Cadet Program (Ages 14 – 19)
• Recruit Training Program (Firefighter Training Program)
• Emergency Medical Technician Training Program
• Misc. other community-related events/classes.

Operating out of three stations, our department members are dedicated to saving lives, protecting property, and providing outstanding customer service.
