Child Safety Seat Installations

The Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District offers the services of nationally certified child safety seat technician(s) to ECFPD District residents only on an appointment only basis. (Walk-in appointments cannot be accommodated.) The Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District has a limited number of nationally certified child safety seat technician(s) making it difficult at times to accommodate all requests.

Please submit your request at least 14-21 days before the car seat installation is needed. Requests will be considered based on availability of car seat technicians. You will be notified within 7 days of your request as to if the fire department will be able to accommodate the installation request. If you would like to have a certified technician install your child safety seat, please fill out the online request form.

If you'd like to make a child safety seat installation request in person, please do so at the ECFPD Station #1, Administrative Office, 200 E. Route 38, Elburn, IL or by calling 630-365-6855. 

The Elburn Police Department also offers the services of nationally certified child safety seat installers on an appointment only basis. If you need a car seat installed and we cannot accommodate your request, please contact the Elburn Police Department at 630-365-5070 to schedule an appointment.
