The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District (ECFPD) creates an eligibility list for original appointment of full-time Firefighter/Paramedic through an extensive testing process that follows the ECFPD Fire Commission Rules and state statue,(70 ILCS 705/16.06). The testing establishes an eligibility list that is good for two (2) years.

The current list of eligible candidates for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic expires as 7:00 am on March 20, 2027 or after which all names have been stricken from the list.
