Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District to SERVE OTHERS.  We exist to provide life safety, fire control, and property conservation services to the residents and visitors of our community through resilience (prevention and planning), readiness, response, and recovery actions.  These services are targeted at reducing the occurrence of, and impact from, all hazards and perils.

To be a progressive inward and outward-facing organization that leads the community in public safety.  The service we provide will be of the highest quality possible commensurate with our fiscal means and responsibilities.
